Overview
The Division of Hematology/Oncology in the Department of Medicine, the Metro Health System and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine is seeking full-time, academic faculty members at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level with a primary clinical focus on breast oncology. Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, and have a strong interest in teaching, research, and active collaboration in multidisciplinary patient care.
The qualified applicant must hold an MD or DO degree. All individuals will have completed a fellowship in adult oncology and be board certified or board eligible in oncology.
The Division of Hematology/Oncology has a growing faculty, with practices in multiple locations in the metropolitan Cleveland area. The division is comprised of the hematologic malignancy/cellular therapy section and solid tumor section and is led by the division chief. All cancer operations report to the Executive Director of the Cancer Institute. The essential functions of the position are to provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, longitudinal patient care, teaching and mentoring of internal medicine residents, hematology/oncology fellows, and medical students.

- Participate in and lead clinical trials, with support for investigator-initiated studies, cooperative group trials, and translational research at Metro Health, and through our affiliation with the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, a National Cancer Institute-designated consortium.
- Develop leadership roles within the Cancer Center and across growing oncology programs.
- Contribute to the newly established Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program, offering faculty opportunities to mentor and train the next generation of oncologists.
- Maintain an appointment to the medical faculty of the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine; final rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- MD or DO degree.
