The Metro Health System was founded in 1837 to serve the residents of Cleveland, Ohio and Cuyahoga County. It is a non-profit, mission-driven institution with 3 hospitals, more than 20 health centers, and 40 additional sites across the county, and is the key public hospital teaching site for Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Metro Health is a nationally recognized academic and tertiary referral medical center, with an American College of Surgeons-verified Level I adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma center, as well as busy advanced robotic and endoscopic surgery practices.
Responsibilities- Lead the Division of Urology in program development and expansion, faculty recruitment, and mentoring and development of current faculty.
- Develop and lead a multidisciplinary program of clinical excellence, commitment to medical student and resident education, and serve as a key leader for the integrated urology residency training program.
- Oversee the Division of Urology which provides a comprehensive spectrum of urological care, including reconstructive urology, men's health, oncology, and endourology.
- Board-certified Urologist with a track record of leadership and clinical excellence.
- Strong commitment to education and teaching, with involvement in research.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a history of scholarly activity, including publications, presentations, and national leadership in specialty organizations.
