Physician-Urology General

Position Title: General Urologist

Location: Metro Health System, Cleveland, Ohio

Affiliation: Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio

The Metro Health System was founded in 1837 to serve the residents of Cleveland, Ohio and Cuyahoga County. It is a non‑profit, mission‑driven institution with 3 hospitals, more than 20 health centers, and 40 additional sites across the county, and is the key public hospital teaching site for Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Metro Health is a nationally recognized academic and tertiary referral medical center, with an American College of Surgeons‑verified Level I adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma center, as well as busy advanced robotic and endoscopic surgery practices.

• Deliver comprehensive urologic care for adult patients, including diagnosis and management of urinary tract and male reproductive system disorders.
• Perform a full spectrum of urologic procedures, including:
• Endoscopic procedures (cystoscopy, ureteroscopy)
• Stone management (lithotripsy, ureteroscopic stone removal)
• Prostate interventions (TURP, laser procedures)
• Basic oncology surgeries (bladder, kidney, prostate)
• Minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques; robotic surgery experience preferred
• Participate in inpatient consults and outpatient clinics.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in clinical and surgical settings.
• Engage in scholarly activities, including clinical research and publications.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives in quality improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Urology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Ohio.
• Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, education, and research.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient‑first approach.
