The world‑class cardiovascular medicine program at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a candidate for the Heart Failure Cardiologist role to join our established and highly respected health system within Cleveland Clinic Regional Cardiovascular Medicine. The Cleveland Clinic Regional Health System includes 13 hospitals and over 180 outpatient facilities in Northeastern Ohio.
Responsibilities- Creation of systems of care for high quality and efficient hospital care of heart failure patients.
- Population health management of outpatients with heart failure.
- Appropriate identification and follow‑up of patients needing advanced procedural treatments.
- Multidisciplinary coordination of care with primary care, cardiovascular specialists, and procedural teams, including coordination with Cleveland Clinic Main Campus for mechanical support options and cardiac transplantation.
- Use of electronic medical record population health analytics as an important aspect of the program.
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine.
- Advanced subspecialty training in heart failure strongly encouraged.
- Selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
This dynamic position commands an extremely competitive salary enhanced by an attractive benefits package including medical malpractice coverage and a highly collegial work environment.
Salary range: $375,000 - $606,250 (100% full‑time)
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires and is for a 100%, full‑time employment (FTE). A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be consistent with fair market value and determined after taking various factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, % of FTE and board certification. This is not inclusive of the value of Cleveland Clinic’s benefits package, which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision, and retirement.

LocationCleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is a premier cardiovascular program with high patient volumes and full cardiovascular services including interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgery. Opportunities to round on Main Campus advanced heart failure services can be included in the position.
