Overview

Primary Responsibilities- Ambulatory management of musculoskeletal conditions, including sports and acute injuries.
- Ultrasound guided procedures.
- Sideline sports coverage.
- Education and training of PM&R residents and CWRU medical students.
- Protected administrative and research time for qualified candidates.
- BC/BE in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) required.
- Fellowship training in Sports Medicine.
- Eligibility for academic appointments commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Academically affiliated with Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Medicine, MHS offers a Level I Trauma and Burn Center, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Magnet® certified for nursing excellence. ACGME training programs include PM&R residency as well as Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, and Pain Medicine fellowships. The Metro Health Center for Rehabilitation Research (MCRR) conducts cutting‑edge research in neuromodulation and has over $92 million in extramural research funding.
