Architectural Designer

This role supports the production of architectural construction documents for fast-paced, multi-location projects. This role works closely with the Project Architect and internal design team to translate established brand standards into coordinated drawing sets, maintain drafting consistency, and help deliver accurate, repeatable documentation on compressed schedules.

• Prepare and maintain architectural construction documents including plans, elevations, sections, and details, primarily using AutoCAD (with occasional Revit use as required).
• Implement client brand and prototype standards across multiple project sites, ensuring uniformity throughout all drawing packages.
• Coordinate architectural documents with consulting disciplines (structural, civil, and MEP) and review drawings for coordination and completeness.
• Manage CAD file structure and standards, including layer control, naming conventions, and overall drawing organization.
• Conduct internal quality checks of drawing sets, verifying dimensions, annotations, detail references, and overall document clarity.
• Support permitting efforts by incorporating jurisdictional requirements and addressing plan review comments.
• Update drawings based on redlines and design changes throughout design development and construction documentation phases.
• Contribute to meeting production deadlines for multi-site roll-out programs by working efficiently within established schedules.
• Communicate drawing updates and coordination items clearly with project team members.
• Participate in internal production meetings and assist in refining drafting standards, workflows, and production efficiencies.

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Drafting, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in architectural drafting and production.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to follow established CAD/BIM standards.
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing drawing sets and digital file systems.
• Ability to understand design intent and execute production tasks with minimal oversight.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Experience working on deadline-driven projects with repetitive or multi-site scopes.
