Overview
Nord Family Network Director’s Fellowship in Digital Media Archiving — The Docent Programs Department in the Division of Public and Academic Engagement at the Cleveland Museum of Art is seeking a detail-oriented intern to lead the migration and organization of its extensive video library. The chosen candidate will be responsible for streamlining the department’s digital presence by transitioning content from internal storage to its docent You Tube channel.

Responsibilities- Cloud Migration: Systematically download recorded sessions from Zoom and Microsoft SharePoint.
- Channel Management: Upload video content to the Docent You Tube page, ensuring each video is optimized with accurate titles, descriptions, captions, and metadata tags.
- Content Curation: Organize videos into logical playlists to improve viewer navigation and accessibility.
- Legacy Digitization: Convert physical DVD archives into high-quality MP4 formats and integrate them into the digital library.
At the conclusion of the internship, the selected candidate will have executed a full-scale media migration project, transitioning training assets from Zoom, SharePoint, and physical DVD formats into a curated You Tube library featuring standardized tagging and playlist categorizations. The intern will develop skills including platform management, data migration, video transcoding, digital asset management, project management, attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management.
Qualifications- Eligibility: Major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media Archiving, or a related field

This position is funded through an Eric and Jane Nord Family Director’s Fellowship. The pay rate is $16/hour. The internship is 35 hours/week for nine weeks and includes a housing and travel stipend.
