Summary of
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Writer / Editor Specialist in Content Marketing responsibilities include writing, editing, and maintaining content to support the Firm’s publications, website, and public relations/advertising functions. The Specialist assists the Firm’s efforts to create and disseminate informative and reader-friendly content by working with Writer / Editors and lawyer-authors to revise articles in a clear and concise journalistic fashion, while ensuring that material is consistent with the Jones Day brand, voice, and style.
The Specialist utilizes superior writing and proofing skills and writes, copyedits, and/or proofreads digital and print materials with skill, efficiency, accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail; edits for content and effectiveness; and ensures consistency of messaging.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a fast-paced professional services marketing/communications environment.
- Previous experience in a legal environment preferred.
Jones Day offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The starting salary range for this Cleveland position is $70,000 to $80,000.
