We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager / Estimator to oversee project estimating, budgeting, and project execution for commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for preparing competitive cost estimates, coordinating subcontractor bids, and managing projects from preconstruction through final completion
.
This position is ideal for someone who understands both construction estimating and project management
, and who can successfully manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client expectations.
- Prepare detailed construction cost estimates and project budgets
- Review construction plans, drawings, and specifications to determine project scope
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor bids and vendor pricing
- Manage projects from preconstruction through project completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules and cost tracking reports
- Coordinate with field teams, superintendents, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Monitor job costs and ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule
- Identify potential cost risks and develop cost-saving strategies
- Prepare project proposals, bid packages, and scope of work documentation
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Experience working as a Construction Estimator, Project Manager, or Project Manager/Estimator
- Strong background in commercial construction estimating and budgeting
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience preparing bid packages and subcontractor scopes of work
- Strong understanding of construction cost control and scheduling
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing commercial construction projects from bid through completion
- Familiarity with construction estimating software and project management tools
- Strong negotiation and subcontractor management skills
