Commercial Roofing Sales & Project Manager

Southwest Companies Inc. is seeking a high-energy, dual-threat Commercial Roofing Sales & Project Manager to join our team. This isn’t just a "sales" job or just a "superintendent" role—we need a professional who can hunt for new opportunities, estimate accurately, and then see those projects through to a successful completion.

As we continue to set the "Gold Standard" in the industry, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring that every roof we install or repair meets our rigorous quality benchmarks.

• Business Development: Proactively identify and engage with property managers, building owners, and general contractors to build a robust pipeline of commercial roofing projects.
• Estimating & Proposals: Perform on-site roof inspections, take measurements, and utilize tools like Buildertrend to create comprehensive, professional proposals.
• Project Oversight: Act as the bridge between the client and our production teams. Manage material procurement, scheduling, and on-site quality control to ensure projects stay on time and on budget.
• Relationship Management: Maintain long-term relationships with clients through proactive communication and post-project follow-ups.
• CRM Mastery: Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities and project milestones within our CRM system (Buildertrend).

• Experience: Proven track record in commercial roofing, construction sales, or project management.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Metal, etc.) and the ability to diagnose complex issues.
• Tech‑Savvy: Proficiency with modern construction management software (experience with Buildertrend is a major plus).
• Local Focus: Strong knowledge of the Northeast Ohio market and a desire to serve the Cleveland/Independence community.
• Mindset: A "team-first" attitude with a drive for individual excellence. You are organized, persuasive, and detail‑oriented.

• Experience and skills in Carpentry and Insulation.
• Comfortable and skilled in Working at Height and on Roofs.
• Knowledge and experience in Waterproofing techniques and solutions.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Capability to supervise teams and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Prior experience in commercial roofing or construction management is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as required.
