Jasmine Distribution Center supports our restaurants by supplying consistent, high-quality ingredients and food across multiple brand concepts. We are seeking a Purchasing & Sourcing Manager to oversee purchasing, sourcing, inventory coordination, and supplier relationships to support daily operations and continued growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a strong understanding of distribution center and commissary operations, including workflows and demand and production trends
- Manage existing products, suppliers, pricing, and ordering processes
- Build knowledge of the brands and restaurants supported by the Distribution Center and commissary operations
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure purchasing and PO compliance to prevent shortages or overstock
- Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and reporting systems
- Support transportation routes, logistics coordination, and delivery schedules as needed
- Negotiate pricing and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Research, evaluate, and onboard new products and suppliers that align with brand standards
- Maintain an approved list of primary and backup products and suppliers
- Conduct market research and monitor pricing and industry trends
- Perform weekly inventory reviews and maintain clear communication across departments
- Analyze product usage and mix to support forecasting and purchasing decisions
- Identify and help resolve supply chain, inventory, or logistics issues
- Maintain and utilize the inventory management systems to ensure accurate data, reporting, and visibility across purchasing, inventory, and operations
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across operations, warehouse, finance, and leadership teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage vendor and supplier relationships
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
- Prior experience in purchasing, sourcing, inventory management, distribution, or food/restaurant operations
- Prior Experience working with reporting and performance metrics, including multiple reporting formats (e.g., weekly operational reports, cost tracking, and financial summaries)
- Prior Experience working with ERP / CRM systems and inventory management platforms
