The Opportunity
My client is one of the fastest-growing mobile storage companies in North America. They provide storage trailers, dry vans, containers, cartage trailers, and transportation services that solve real-world capacity challenges for customers in manufacturing, retail, logistics, automotive, construction, and more.
The company was founded in 2017 with two locations and 5,400 units. Today, they operate in 40+ locations, across three countries, with 36,000–40,000+ units and 300 employees (up from 60 in 2021). Backed by private equity, the company continues to grow through acquisitions, new markets, and major infrastructure investments.

We are hiring a Business Development Specialist to develop new customer relationships and expand the presence in one of our fastest-growing regions.
This is a pure hunting role focused on building new relationships and solving storage needs for customers. You’ll work closely with a supportive Regional Manager and operational team, using a modern CRM (Hub Spot) and a proven territory strategy.
What You’ll Do- Identify, prospect, and close new business within a defined territory
- Sell storage trailers, dry vans, containers, and cartage solutions
- Conduct field visits to understand customer needs and applications
- Build relationships with warehouse managers, logistics leaders, and procurement teams
- Manage pipeline, activities, and forecasting in Hub Spot
- Maintain regular touchpoints with clients (Top 10 every 30 days; Top 25 every 90 days)
- Achieve 100+ new units on rent in Year 1
Base Salary: $50,000–$65,000 Commission:
- 5% of collected revenue for all new customers (Year
1) - 1% bonus on recurring revenue (Year 2+)
- $2,500 quarterly guarantee for first 6 months

Qualifications- 6+ months of sales experience
- A strong relationship-builder
- Comfortable with customers / confident communicator
- Hungry, driven, and persistent — doesn’t take no for an answer
- Organized and consistent with territory planning
- Able to succeed in a longer sales cycle environment
