WhatYou’ll Do
As a Service Solutions Consultant, you will partner with regional offices to position and close solutions-oriented Service offerings. You will work with Sales Management, Account Managers, and local leadership to target Customers underserved from a Service offerings perspective. Within new or existing accounts, you will expand offerings by bringing forward the full value of the entire Service capabilities of the company, and help create tailored service strategies through deep technical and operational expertise.
Day-To-DayResponsibilities
- Drive strategy meetings with sales managers across customer accounts with a Services-oriented solution approach.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on all company service offerings, capabilities, and processes.
- Participate in client discovery sessions to identify opportunities for service optimization or expansion, including client needs and care abouts.
- Incorporate customer requirements in actionable service solutions via Master Service Agreements and/or Statements of Work.
- Work with Solutions Architects to ensure technical requirements are captured and positioned as part of the solution deliverable.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customer stakeholders to ensure AVI-SPL maintains a favorable position and that the desired value proposition is provided.
- Remain present with clients as part of ongoing Annual or Quarterly Business Reviews, acting as a liaison between sales and service delivery.
- Engage with regional and local leadership to understand regional trends or demands for technology services; interact with key customer stakeholders to collect feedback on market requirements.
- Advise Sales on best practices for positioning service value and aligning with client business outcomes.
- Track and communicate service feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve offerings.
- Perform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects to support the team and organization, adapting to evolving priorities.
- Minimum of a 4-year degree or comparable industry experience
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive consulting
- Strong teamwork skills to operate in a team-selling environment with new and existing customers
- Excellent presentation skills and comfort sharing thoughts with leadership and Executive stakeholders from AVI-SPL, customers, manufacturers, and third-party service providers
- Strong written skills and competence with business applications used to construct documents, financial analyses, or presentations
- Excellent ability to switch tasks while adapting to changing priorities
- Energized self-starter capable of working independently and meeting deadlines
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proven ability to contribute to new business development, build account plans, lead generation, and respond to proposals
- Entrepreneurial outlook – experience in identifying leads and converting them into business, demonstrating tools and capabilities
- Demonstrate effective negotiation and closing techniques
- Proven selling skills related to growing existing accounts and/or acquiring new business, with the ability to identify unique customer needs
- Solid business/problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service (internal and external)
- ITIL Foundations certification or comparable industry certification is preferred
- Experience in providing a consultative approach with sales teams specific to Services, unified communications, software as a service, or licensing and subscriptions is preferred
