Summary ofEssential Duties and Responsibilities
The Support Services Assistant plays a key role in supporting hospitality and operational services within our 600+ employee Cleveland office. This cross-trained position supports multiple service functions across the office and contributes to the seamless execution of daily operations. Responsibilities include assisting with the setup, breakdown, and overall preparation of meetings, events, and other office activities, as well as supporting the Support Services department through tasks such as processing mail and packages, maintaining supply inventories, and performing additional duties as needed.
Work hours are 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday; with flexibility for occasional overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in an office support environment preferred.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry objects weight 35 pounds or more, as well as push or pull a loaded cart weighing up to 200 pounds.
- Strong service orientation and communication skills.
- Ability to handle situations with discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
- Strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Jones Day offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The starting salary range for this Cleveland position is $50,000 - $55,000.
