Purchasing Assistant to support purchasing operations and pre-construction permitting activities within its growing Cleveland, OH Division.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Purchasing- Maintain vendor packets and qualifications
- Request for pricing, load price changes
- Revising/updating features lists
- Updating projects vendor lists
- Pricing and distributing design changes
- Keeping all plans updated and in stock
- New project product binders
- Keep the office organized
- Coordinate all paperwork for vendors
- Process purchase orders, change orders and notices to proceed
- Create and maintain contract files
- Research invoice or purchase order issues as needed
- Prepare bid packages
- Prepare and submit plot plans, zoning applications, and building permits through various municipalities based on construction deadlines
- Prepare and submit check requests, payments for permits, water and sewer taps, and impact fees timely
- Serve as designated Division contact for permit and/or other issues and respond promptly
- Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with municipality departments and staff members
- Record building permit information into JD Edwards (JDE) to maintain the construction scheduling software
Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
