Controller, Accounting, Bookkeeper​/ Accounting Clerk

Job Overview

Cleveland-based property investment management company with both residential and commercial properties is looking for an experienced accounting professional to replace our retiring controller. Position reports to owner of the company.
Must have prior real estate accounting experience, Yardi or MRI experience
, and be able to process all areas of property accounting including accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, setting up properties in Yardi, and completing year-end financial documents for third-party tax accountant.

In addition to handling accounting functions, this position handles all Human Resources functions for the company of 25 employees including payroll, benefits, and annual compensation increases.

Position is located in our downtown Cleveland office. Compensation package includes paid parking, generous paid time off and holidays, health insurance that is 85% company paid, and annual bonus.
