Position Summary:The RN Weekend Supervisor will oversee nursing staff and operations during weekend hours, ensuring high standards of patient care, compliance with policies, and efficient workflow. This role requires strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication to support both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities during weekend shifts.
- Provide direct patient care as needed, demonstrating clinical expertise.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage staffing assignments and address any personnel issues promptly.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff on weekends.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to patient care and staffing.
- Respond effectively to emergencies and unexpected situations.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and standard healthcare software.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
This position primarily covers weekend shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional on-call responsibilities.
