Warehouse Team Leader

Position: Warehouse Team Leader (Permanent)
Abatec are recruiting for a well-established manufacturer and supplier within the aluminium door and systems industry. Operating in the construction and manufacturing sector, they specialise in producing high-quality aluminium products for commercial and residential projects. Due to continued growth, they are strengthening their warehouse leadership team to support operational excellence.

The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join the business at their site in the Clevedon/Yatton area. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
The successful candidate can expect a hands-on role with real responsibility, working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

* Leading and developing a warehouse team to achieve daily and long-term operational targets

* Actively participating in warehouse duties, including Combi Forklift and Crane operations

* Monitoring and achieving KPIs to ensure performance standards are met

* Always Ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety procedures

* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse functions
About You

* Holds a valid external Counterbalance, Reach Truck, or Forklift licence (Combi training provided)

* Proven warehouse experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment

* Previous experience managing or supervising a team

* Strong communication and leadership skills

* Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently
What’s on Offer

* Pay rate: £14.19 – £15.66 per hour

* Contract:

Temp to perm after 12 weeks

* Hours:

Monday to Friday, 2pm – 10pm

* On-the-job training, including Combi forklift training
