Abatec is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business producing high-quality components for commercial and industrial applications. The company operates in a fast-paced, precision-led environment with a strong focus on quality and safety.

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join a busy production team in Yatton. You will be responsible for operating manufacturing machinery to meet production targets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

• Full-time, long-term position
• Pay rate: £14.43 - £25.10 per hour
• Day or night shifts (Monday to Friday only - no weekends)

• Operate machinery within your designated area to meet production targets
• Set up, adjust, and monitor machines, including start-up and shut-down
• Reduce material waste and maximise production efficiency
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and production procedures

• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• High attention to detail and a structured approach to work
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Good communication skills

Previous machine operating experience is highly desirable. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this fast-paced production environment.
