Lead Project Quality Engineer – Baker Hughes

Responsibilities- Act as the main quality contact for tendering and project execution phases for our MDC Projects across ENSC, SSA & MENATI.
- Verify that contractual quality and regulatory requirements are fulfilled and maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Establish and execute the project quality plan, witness points, and quality records for compliance with contract while ensuring customer quality requirements.
- Use Feedback of Experience (FOE)/Lessons Learned during the tender proposal to avoid deviations and continually improve execution processes.
- Travel to fabrication yard locations to implement improvement initiatives and conduct audits and assessments in line with contract and Baker Hughes requirements.
- Handle communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services, interfacing across different cultures and time‑zones to foster collaborative ways of working.
- Be accountable for all aspects of product quality related to fabrication of subsea equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in Quality).
- Demonstrable industry experience in QA Engineering.
- Experience with subsea fabrications or welding, testing and NDT.
- Experience with internal and external quality audits.
- Willingness to travel across the UK as required for projects.
