Key Responsibilities

• Answer phone and take food orders over the phone.
• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, point of sale, and credit card terminals.
• Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or make suggestions.
• Learn food and beverage menu.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.

Requirements

Carryout Cashiers enjoy working with the public and has a friendly, outgoing personality. They are also dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and displays a positive attitude when interacting with customers and fellow team members.

Essential Requirements & Skills

• Mathematical skills and the ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
• Positive, helpful attitude toward customers, including the ability to speak clearly and convey information accurately.
• Knowledge of register operation, including cash, credit cards, and register receipts.
• Multitasking.
• Team members must be able to work in the United States.

• Leads self with self-discipline, critical thinking and problem solving, initiative, and leadership ability.
• Leads people through a passion for motivating others to perform as a team to ensure great dining experiences.
• Communicates effectively through active listening and positively influencing a diverse team.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

This job operates behind the counter and may be working in close proximity to co-workers. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Hazards may include, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping and tripping. The physical demands include:

• Walk and stand during entire shift.
• Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe.
• Remain stationary for long periods of time.
• Be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Be able to verbalize to team and managers any issues or concerns.
