Key Responsibilities

Childcare Facility Cleaning & Disinfection

• Clean and disinfect classrooms, play areas, and common spaces
• Sanitize restrooms, sinks, and diaper-changing areas
• Clean breakrooms, offices, and staff areas
• Empty trash and replace liners

Floor & Surface Care

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Spot clean walls, doors, and baseboards
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces (doorknobs, light switches, tables, toys storage areas)

Safety & Quality Standards

• Use child-safe, approved cleaning products and PPE (training provided)
• Follow detailed cleaning checklists and log completed tasks
• Maintain organized janitorial closets and properly store supplies

Communication & Accountability

• Communicate professionally with supervisors
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or supply needs promptly
• Follow all ECS safety and quality procedures

What We're Looking For

• Prior janitorial or professional cleaning experience preferred (childcare or school settings a plus)

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

• Reliable transportation to and from the site

• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• Dependable and punctual-attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience working in environments serving children
