As the on‑site Community Manager, you will ensure exceptional resident experiences, manage leasing and administrative operations, supervise staff, oversee financial reporting, execute marketing strategies, and maintain smooth property operations for our student housing property.
What You Will Do Leadership and Staff Management- Lead and supervise all community staff, fostering high performance and development.
- Spearhead recruitment, training, and termination of team members in line with company policies.
- Manage staff schedules and submit property payroll on time.
- Maintain the property to the highest standards in compliance with company guidelines.
- Implement and monitor property reporting requirements to assess performance and identify improvement areas.
- Negotiate contract obligations and terms with vendors.
- Foster positive relationships with residents and address needs promptly.
- Maintain strong partnerships with universities and other stakeholders.
- Create and execute quarterly Reputation Management Plans and review them with the Regional Manager.
- Enforce strict compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Uphold brand and company standards to ensure exceptional presentation of the property.
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager on special projects and assignments, contributing innovative ideas and strategic insights.
- Complete all assigned HR/People Operations‑related tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
- Must work a full shift on site at the property.
- Must be available for additional hours including evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary.
- Must assist with move‑outs, turns, and move‑ins that extend beyond normal full‑time hours.
- Must lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, including bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the workday.
- High School graduate; college degree preferred but not required.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in property management or related fields.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite and Windows and/or Apple operating systems.
- Student Housing operations experience.
- Experience with Entrata and Yardi Software(s).
