Italian MNC - Marine and Power Industries Senior Shipping Executive // Assistant Manager
Monday-Friday9am to 6pm // 8.30am-5.30pm [ NO OT Required ]
After confirmed entitled to 6 days WFH per month
Location: 2-3 bus stop from Clementi MRT, Singapore
Entitled to AWS + Performance Bonus [ March ]
In-depth knowledge of customs regulations and
international transport regulations

Familiar with key IT tools, shipping software, and
ERP systems

Minimum5 years of relevant experience in shipping and logistics
field, preferable in
marine or engineering tools / equipment [spare parts].
Product training provided bysales team or sales director from Italy.
Replacement role and work in a team of 4 with one shipping assistant, warehouse driver and document controller. Direct report to manager in Italy.
Ensuring a smooth and efficient transportation of goods from Singapore warehouse to various destinations
Supervises a team of workers and reports to a senior manager.
Assist company to implement strategies to achieve its organizational goals.
Manage billing to customers with high accuracy.
Responsible for training and guidance to Shipping Assistants,.
Responsible for training and onboarding new hires.
Preparation and Stock entries into system.
Work closely with the procurement and warehouse teams to meet customers' needs.
Responsible for coordinating and sourcing for freight forwarders and other transportation companies to ensure that goods are delivered on time and in good condition.
Negotiating rates with vendors to minimize costs and optimize the use of resources.
Responsible in Accounts opening of new vendors, eg forwarders, couriers, DG vendors. PSA
Taking over Assistant roles as and when they are not available
Schedules meetings with managers from other departments to discuss goals.
Develop productivity and performance reports for senior Management.
Contributes to the development and dissemination of corporate culture
Ensure that all shipments comply with local and international regulations, including customs clearance and documentation requirements. Such as Dangerous Cargo Handling, SOP on titanium plates and onboard deliveries.
Maintain good relationships with customers and the supply chain ecosystem ensuring their needs are met.
Be able to address any complaints or issues and provide feedback related to Shipping and delivery.
Identifying and mitigating risks associated with shipping and logistics operations, such as damage to goods, delays, or theft.
Propose insurance as and when required, follow up cases with vendors pertaining damage / loss cargo during transportation.
Manage the processes and a small team of the local hub
