JLL has a great opportunity to join our Retail Property Management team in Clearwater, FL at the Countryside Mall.
Job Duties- Performs preventive maintenance and repair work orders for facility mechanical systems, minor electrical, minor plumbing, lighting systems, grounds care, entry systems, roofing, and refuse programs.
- Performs facility inspections, reporting on conditions impacting satisfactory tenant/customer occupancy and operations.
- Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment and/or as directed.
- Ensure the facility and building systems meet or exceed rated life.
- Maintain compliance with policies of JLL/Client/Site. Assist in any audits of the site and systems.
- Ensure a safe work environment while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Additional responsibilities assigned by managers.
- Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
- Maintain a positive working relationship and be able to communicate with building tenants, staff, and contractors about the work.
- Candidates will be provided with tools required to perform assigned work scope.
- Must be willing and able to support any after-hours building-related activity as required.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent years of relevant experience.
- The candidate must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
- Position requires excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. Bilingual is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic carpentry, basic HVAC, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
- Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs for inspections and emergency procedure practice or implementation.
- Ability to climb ladders up to 12 feet and lift 60 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to safely bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, and turn frequently.
- Requires ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports, excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to work and act independently, safely, and make solid decisions in the field.
- Can operate various hand tools.
- Requires teamwork attitude.
