About the Role
Lithionics is looking for a motivated, technically curious Technical Sales Development Intern to support our customer experience and commercial team.
This internship is designed for students in technical sales, engineering, or energy systems. You’ll gain hands‑on exposure to how lithium battery systems are specified, quoted, and supported across OEM, marine, RV, and specialty vehicle markets.
You won’t just observe — you’ll help the team execute real work while learning how engineering, sales, and operations come together to deliver great customer experiences.
This role is a strong pathway into future positions such as:
- Inside Sales
- Technical Sales
- Applications Engineer
- Account Manager
- How lithium battery systems are architected and applied
- How technical products are quoted and configured
- How OEM and dealer relationships are managed
- How cross‑functional teams (engineering, ops, sales) collaborate
- How to communicate technical info in simple, customer‑friendly language
- Assist with responding to inbound customer questions (basic product info, specs, documentation)
- Help route and track requests to sales
- Maintain CRM records and update account notes
- Prepare follow‑up materials and customer resources
- Support the team with quote preparation and proposal formatting
- Help organize pricing sheets, product specs, and training materials
- Build and update sales tools (one‑pagers, FAQs, competitive comparisons)
- Assist with trade shows, events, and dealer trainings
- Develop working knowledge of Lithionics batteries, BMS, and system components
- Help document common technical questions and solutions
- Assist with building knowledge base articles and internal guides
- Shadow technical calls to learn system requirements and applications
- Track order statuses and help coordinate updates for customers
- Support internal reporting and dashboards
- Assist with process documentation and continuous improvement projects
- Student or recent graduate in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field
- Interest in sustainability, energy, electrical systems, or technical products
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive
- Comfortable talking with customers and cross‑functional teams
- Curious and eager to learn
Technical knowledge is a plus, but not required — we’ll teach you.
