Position Overview

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our Commercial Staffing division. This role is ideal for a competitive sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and is motivated by uncapped earning potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business development, expanding existing client relationships, and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, networking, and in-person visits
  • Drive the complete sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local business leaders and community organizations
  • Grow and expand existing client accounts
  • Conduct regular quality reviews and ensure service excellence
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and activity metrics
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
  • 75 outbound calls per week
  • 50 field activities per week (client visits, in-person meetings, drop-ins)
  • 3 prospect meetings per week during first 6 months
  • 5 prospect meetings per week after 6 months (minimum 2 prescheduled)
  • Visit each current customer at least once per month
  • Close 2 new accounts per month
Compensation & Commission
  • Competitive base salary
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Commission paid on new and existing temporary gross profit, plus direct hire placements and conversions
  • 10% commission on self-generated business
  • 4% commission on assigned house accounts
  • First-year goal:
    Achieve $3,000 per week in gross profit
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
  • Proven track record in the staffing industry
  • Demonstrated experience driving the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Ability to clearly articulate past sales successes and revenue achievements
  • Experience growing existing accounts and building long-term relationships
  • Strong examples of resilience, grit, and persistence
  • Highly motivated by performance, income growth, and measurable success
  • Collaborative team player
  • Professional, polished, and well-spoken communication style
  • Competitive mindset with strong business ethics

  • Experience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments
