A Day in the Life of a Field Life Agent

We are seeking a Field Life Agent who will engage in outside sales activities away from their assigned AAA branch.

Responsibilities include:

  • Solicit and sell Life & Health insurance and annuity products under minimal supervision, primarily within ACG branch location.
  • Apply thorough knowledge of product features and marketing techniques to achieve established sales goals.
  • Develop leads and prospects for new accounts through outbound/inbound calls, mailings, referrals, networking, website, seminars, etc.
  • Prepare proposals, close sales of Life, Health, Annuity, Membership, and Financial Services products.
  • Complete applications, forms, and follow internal processing procedures to ensure transactions comply with company policies.
  • Collaborate with branch staff to reach business goals, maximize leads, and leverage cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Assist Underwriting and Brokerage Departments to satisfy requirements.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, ensuring sound sales practices.
  • Prepare reports documenting prospecting and sales activities, maintain production standards and persistency levels.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who
  • Possess valid State Life Sales licenses.
  • Can take and pass LUTC or CLU coursework.
  • Maintain Life and Health licenses required to sell products.
  • Hold a valid State driver’s license.
  • Qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
Education

High School diploma or equivalent.

Work Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience soliciting and selling life insurance products.
  • Experience selling intangible products.

  • Ability to listen, analyze customer needs, and recommend best solutions.
