Back up Receiver

The Backup Receiver is responsible for all functions and paperwork related to receiving, operating machinery such as baler, compactor, and forklift safely, maximizing sales potential through proper receiving procedures, maintaining cleanliness of the receiving area, and reporting discrepancies to managers and buyers.

• Track and verify the accuracy of all received product against invoices and orders.
• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Move and transfer product weighing up to 60 lbs. and 1000 lbs. over specified distances.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
• Collaborate with team members and store leadership at all times.

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to report discrepancies and verify accuracy of receipts.
• Completion of applicable training and certification for equipment use.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 60 lbs. and 1000 lbs.).
• Good vision for reviewing invoices and monitoring incoming product.
• Basic math skills and computer knowledge.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as needed.
