Fortiva Residential is excited to announce an opening for a Floating Leasing Consultant position. This full-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to various properties within our portfolio, including locations in Tampa, Largo, St. Petersburg, and our corporate office in Clearwater. As a Floating Leasing Consultant, you will help ensure seamless operations across different sites, stepping in as needed—especially during staff absences due to PTO, sickness, or vacation.
The anticipated arrangement includes being positioned at smaller properties to assist the on-site managers for 3 days in the Largo Leasing Office and 2 days in the St. Pete Leasing Office. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, a team player, and dedicated to providing high-quality service.
This role suits individuals who thrive in dynamic settings and adapt to varying work environments. As a key member of our team, you will help maintain continuity of operations and tenant satisfaction across multiple locations.
Responsibilities- Provide leasing and administrative support at different property locations as assigned.
- Ensure all leasing documentation is accurately completed and maintained.
- Conduct tours and engage with potential tenants, showcasing the amenities and units available.
- Assist in resolving tenant concerns and coordinate maintenance requests with the relevant departments.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Coordinate with the management team to develop and implement policies that enhance tenant satisfaction.
- Inspect properties regularly to ensure they meet standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the central management team to provide updates and receive strategic guidance.
- Proven experience as a Leasing Consultant in multifamily workforce housing.
- Willingness to float between properties in Tampa, Largo, St. Petersburg, and the corporate office in Clearwater.
- Ability to work legally in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in real estate is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Competence in personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (App Folio).
- Driver’s license and ability to travel as needed (mileage reimbursed).
- High level of discretion and ethical approach in all business-related matters.
- Available for bundled showing on Saturdays, or during evenings as necessary.
