Full Time

* Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

* Every other weekend requirement

* On Call:
No

* Always in person

Requirements:

* RN (Registered Nurse) License

* Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing

* 2-years' RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting

* BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

* ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

The Registered Nurse - ICU responsibilities and skills:

* Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards

* Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

* Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care

* Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.

* Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition

* Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients

* Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge

* High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient

* Professional accountability and development
