Bay Care's staffing resource office is currently in search of experienced ICU nurses who are passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. Our region pool float team nurses float between a region of hospitals.
Region 1 includes St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay hospitals.
Region 2 includes St Joseph's Main, St Joseph's North, St Joseph's South and Wesley Chapel hospitals
Region 3 includes Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist and Winter Haven hospitals.
Requirements- Registered Nurse license
- BLS & ACLS (AHA) are required, and cannot expire within 30 days of start date
- Associate degree in nursing (ASN). BSN is preferred.
- 2 years current ICU RN experience in a hospital setting is required. Comfortable with floating to variety of units and hospitals.
- Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred.
- CCRN preferred.
- Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.
- Flexibility
- Travel Nurse experience preferred.
Floats within their assigned region of hospitals every shift. Assigned to hospital approximately 2 hours prior to the start of the shift by the SRO staffing team based upon the most critical need for the shift.
