Every day, our Registered Nurses deliver a level of excellence and compassionate care to our patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
Positions details:- Location: Morton Plant Hospital – Neuro ICU/CCU – Clearwater, Florida
- This unit will treat Neurological, Medical, Surgical and Cardiovascular ICU patients
- Status: Full Time
- Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Every other weekend requirement
- On Call: No
- Always in person

Registered Nurse – ICU responsibilities and skills:- Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
- Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
- Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care
- Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
- Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
- Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients
- Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge
- High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
- Professional accountability and development
