It takes a special kind of person to become a nurse and we’re hoping that you’re one of those special people who would like to be a Bay Care nurse. Bay Care Health Systems is currently seeking experienced med surg/tele nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office team.

Region Core Float Pool - Full-time. 3x12 hour shifts per week to include every 3rd Friday and Saturday, and 2 Sundays in a 6-week schedule. Holiday commitment includes summer and winter holiday, and hard to fill staffing day. Required to float to a region of hospitals based on census needs.

Region 1 includes St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay Hospitals.

Region 3 includes Bartow Regional, South Florida Baptist and Winter Haven Hospitals.

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
• Associate's degree in nursing
• 2 years RN experience in an acute Med/Surg/Tele setting
• Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
• Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts
• Must be able to pass Tele test during orientation
• Flexibility
