The Operating Room Charge RN responsibilities include:

• Proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills

• Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team

• Is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization

• Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members

• Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

For this position, we strongly prefer at least 2 years RN experience in Operating Room. CVOR experience is strongly preferred. Experience as a Charge RN in the Operating Room preferred. Board running experience preferred.

• Education: Bachelor's Nursing or Bachelor's Science in related field or RN Certification in related field

• Required: includes 2 years acute care experience or 2 years Interventional/Procedural

• Preferred: 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship
