Positions details
- Full-Time Core Float Pool ICU-floats between region 1 or region 3 hospital ICU's.

• Location: Region 1 includes Morton Plant, Mease Countryside, Mease Dunedin, Morton Plant Northbay and St Anthony's Hospitals and Region 3 includes Bartow Medical Center, South Florida Baptist and Winter Haven Hospitals.
• Status: Full-Time-non-exempt
• Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Every 3rd Saturday & Sunday, in addition 2 Fridays in 6-week schedule
• On Call: No
• Always in person

• Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Care for patients throughout their recovery in critical care.
• Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
• Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
• Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients.
• Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
• High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient.
• Professional accountability and development.

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• 2-year experience of ICU in an Acute Care setting
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
