The Marketing Manager at at Cause Law Office is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that promote the firm's mission to deliver compassionate, transparent, and high-quality legal services in Probate, Medicaid, and Estate Planning. By creating engaging content and campaigns, the Marketing Manager enhances the firm's visibility and reputation, attracting clients who value a people-first approach and a non-stuffy, collaborative environment.

As the Marketing Manager, you will lead the firm's marketing efforts, including digital marketing, content creation, event planning, and public relations. You will work closely with attorneys and staff to develop marketing materials that reflect the firm's values and expertise, while ensuring compliance with legal advertising regulations.

What you will be responsible for
  • Create and manage targeted Google Ads campaigns to attract potential clients and drive traffic to the firm's services, optimizing for both search engines and AI-driven queries.
  • Digital Presence Management:
    Maintain and optimize the firm's online presence, including website updates, social media posts, and online advertising, ensuring content is discoverable by AI tools like Grok or ChatGPT.
  • Landing Page Development:
    Design, build, and optimize landing pages to support marketing campaigns and improve conversion rates.
  • AI-Optimized Content Creation:
    Develop conversational, intent-driven content (e.g., blog posts, FAQs, structured data) tailored for AI tools to improve visibility in AI-generated responses and featured snippets.
  • Produce and distribute marketing materials, including brochures, newsletters, blog posts, and social media content, that highlight the firm's expertise in Probate, Medicaid, and Estate Planning.
  • Coordinate and promote events, webinars, or workshops to educate potential clients and foster relationships.
  • Work closely with attorneys and staff to develop content that reflects the firm's non-stuffy, collaborative culture while maintaining professionalism.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics (e.g., click-through rates, conversions, ROI) using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Ensure all marketing activities adhere to legal advertising regulations and ethical guidelines.
  • Manage the marketing budget efficiently, prioritizing hands-on execution of campaigns across web and social channels.
  • Stay current with trends and best practices in digital marketing, including AI optimization techniques and legal marketing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and professional networks through active engagement on social platforms and in-person events.
  • Support attorney participation in speaking engagements, conferences, and community events by creating promotional materials and handling logistics.
  • Develop marketing content that is sensitive to the emotional and personal nature of the firm's legal services, tailored to clients in Probate, Medicaid, and Estate Planning.
Requirements

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Proven expertise in running and optimizing Google Ads campaigns, with an understanding of AI-driven query optimization.
  • Strong skills in creating and managing landing pages using platforms like Word Press, Unbounce, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in tracking and analyzing marketing metrics with tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads dashboards, or AI-specific monitoring platforms.
  • Knowledge of AI optimization strategies, including creating conversational content, implementing structured data (e.g., schema.org), and targeting featured snippets.
  • Experience managing social media platforms (e.g., X) to enhance discoverability by AI tools accessing real-time data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on creating clear, engaging, and empathetic content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team while independently executing multiple projects.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to develop effective, hands-on marketing solutions for both traditional and AI-driven channels.
