As a Printing Press Assistant
, you will work alongside the pressman to ensure high‑quality and efficient printing operations. Your responsibilities will include loading paper into the printing press, preparing ink, and maintaining machine cleanliness to ensure optimal performance. Additionally, you will assist in greasing the press and supporting general press maintenance tasks.

• Full‑time, fully air‑conditioned warehouse position
• Tuesday — Saturday, 3:00 PM — 11:00 PM

Compensation
Pay: $16.00/hour

• Load paper into the printing press and ensure correct materials are used
• Prepare and mix ink for printing jobs
• Assist the pressman in operating the printing press, ensuring high‑volume, high‑quality output
• Grease and clean the press to maintain smooth operations and extend the life of the equipment
• Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, particularly around the press machine
• Work closely with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards

• Safety‑conscious with the ability to work around machinery and handle tasks carefully
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Willingness to learn how to operate a printing press
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift (training provided)
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, friendly attitude
• Team player who values collaboration and delivering quality work
• Mechanical aptitude or previous experience in manufacturing or machinery is a plus
