Janitor – Manufacturing Clean Room
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in a manufacturing facility with a clean room environment. The ideal candidate will follow strict cleanliness standards and ensure a safe, organized, and contamination‑free workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize clean room areas according to established procedures
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors using approved methods and equipment
- Wipe down walls, work surfaces, doors, and equipment
- Empty trash and properly dispose of waste materials
- Refill supplies such as gloves, wipes, and cleaning materials
- Follow gowning, safety, and clean room protocols at all times
- Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
- Maintain cleaning logs and documentation as required
Requirements:
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and cleanliness standards
- Dependable with good attendance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs
- Previous janitorial or clean room experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to work in a controlled clean room environment
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing facility with clean room requirements
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
