Salary: $35.00 USD Hourly – $43.00 USD Hourly
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Designer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for cable harness assemblies and subassemblies. This role involves interpreting engineering prints, collaborating with design engineering, and supporting production operations with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance.
Responsibilities- Design manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for cable harness assemblies and subassemblies.
- Interpret engineering drawings and collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability.
- Support production floor operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, procure, and implement tooling to enhance manufacturing processes.
- Incorporate inspection and testing requirements into production plans.
- Inspect machinery, equipment, and tools for efficiency; identify and resolve deficiencies to maintain product quality.
- Provide guidance to engineering teams on design concepts and specifications to optimize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensure all processes comply with applicable regulations and specifications.
- Ability to read and write English fluently.
- Strong understanding of cable harness assembly processes.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and wire harness print interpretation.
- Experience with AutoCAD software.
- Familiarity with IPC-WHMA-A-620 standards (preferred but not required).
