Description: Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the general facilities and all public areas, inside and outside of the buildings. Maintain clean and safe facilities, including the fuel center, main building, and parking lots. Starting pay is $15.00/hour.

• Responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary interior, including all restrooms, floors, shower rooms, offices and break room. Duties include emptying trash receptacles, cleaning and disinfecting restrooms and shower rooms, vacuuming, polishing windows and mirrors, and scrubbing, mopping, and disinfecting floors.

• Maintain a neat and clean exterior. Duties include keeping trash receptacles emptied; sidewalks clear of snow, ice, and debris; rock beds and fence lines clear of weeds and trash, etc.

• Implement a routine deep-cleaning schedule, so that all areas are maintained and thoroughly cleaned regularly.

• Manage shower rooms with urgency, keeping them cleaned, disinfected, and stocked in a timely manner.

• Launder all shower towels and washcloths, as well as kitchen towels.

• Be familiar with all cleaning chemicals and how to safely handle them. Know where the MSDS sheets are for reference.

• Be self‑motivated, proactive and productive while working, making yourself, the team, and Clearwater Travel Plaza the Obvious Choice.

• Communicate with supervisor, staff, and customers/guests in a positive and professional manner.

• Comply with all safety rules, company policies, and scheduling requirements.
