They lead with organizational expertise and empathy, fostering a collaborative, non-stuffy environment while empowering paralegals, legal assistants, and clients to achieve meaningful outcomes in alignment with our people-first philosophy.
- Supervise and mentor estate planning paralegals and legal assistants, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring high-quality work product.
- Coordinate case workflows to align with client goals, attorney strategies, and Florida estate planning laws.
- Maintain client relationships by providing transparent updates, addressing inquiries, and handling sensitive matters with empathy, such as bereavement or family dynamics.
- Monitor case deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely completion of estate planning services.
- Prepare and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Assist attorneys with legal research to support estate planning strategies and stay current on developments in Florida estate planning and probate law.
- Organize and maintain client files, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility for attorneys and team members.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other departments (e.g., probate, elder law) to provide integrated support for complex client needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited program (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a paralegal in estate planning, probate, or a related legal field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- In-depth knowledge of estate planning processes, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and Florida estate planning laws.
- Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of paralegals and legal assistants in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Lexis Nexis, Westlaw) and case management software.
- Strong drafting and reviewing skills for estate planning documents, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client, attorney, and team interactions.
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate a team while fostering a collaborative, supportive culture.

Must speak English. Must have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, the ability to pay attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Physical Requirements- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk (6 to 8 hours a day).
- Utilizing a computer for extended periods at a time.
- Occasional lifting of files or materials up to 20 lbs.
- This role starts at a salary of $70,000 per year.
- PTO and sick days after 90 days.
