ResponsibilitiesResponsible for supervising the staff, oversees the contracted employees, and assures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements within the laboratory.
Has direct responsibility for the operational processes within the laboratory.
Supported by the Technical Directors/Managers and Lab Directors in regard to product (test) appropriateness, performance, quality assurance, training and competency by the regional directors for that particular service line.
Oversees all relationships with the laboratory customers within the facility, either through inpatient or outpatient access and assists Bay Care Central Laboratory Services with outreach routes of entry into the system.
This includes team resources, quality reporting, infectious disease reporting. Assists in processing expense and billing information to the appropriate departments.
Implements and maintains the appropriate databases for this information. Assists with budgets and quality reports.
Required: Bachelors Degree - Clinical Science Related
Preferred: Masters Degree

Minimum 5 years Clinical Laboratory
Lab Supervisor License
