We are currently seeking a Housekeeper – Laundry Specialist to join our team and help ensure our residents’ daily lives are supported with care and dignity.
The Housekeeper – Laundry Specialist plays an important role in keeping our community running smoothly. This position focuses primarily on managing all aspects of resident and community laundry, while also assisting with light housekeeping as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry in a timely and organized manner
- Wash and maintain community linens, towels, and other laundry items
- Ensure laundry and storage areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety and infection control standards
- Communicate with residents and staff regarding laundry needs and preferences
- Assist with light housekeeping duties (such as vacuuming, dusting, or sanitizing common areas) as needed
- Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and respect at all times
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred (senior living or healthcare environment a plus)
- Ability to operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to serving seniors
