Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Medical Receptionist for a healthcare client in the Tampa Bay area. This person will be responsible for clerical duties, such as: patient registration, customer service, insurance verification, financial counseling, scheduling, bed control, and reception. This person must be proficient in at least 5 of these areas including registration.

Skills and Requirements
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience with patient registration
  • Experience or working knowledge around insurance verification, financial counseling, scheduling, and bed control.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work in a team environment and help team members and patients without having to be asked.
  • Experience with scanning documents, compiling patient information and ability to maintain organization.
  • HS Diploma or GED (customer runs an education verification)
