We are seeking an experienced Regional Lab Manager - Histology Department to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead lab histology operations in one of the region’s largest and most respected academic health system, known for advanced medical technologies and exceptional patient care.

• Supervises the staff, oversees the contracted employees, and assures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Has direct responsibility for the testing within the department.
• Supports processing and client relationships by the facility managers.
• Oversees the contractual relationships with the laboratory vendors.
• Works in conjunction with the facility managers and the Director of Central Laboratory Services to assure proper turnaround times and accurate reports.
• Assists the Facility Managers with duties associated with team resources, quality reporting, infectious disease reporting, education, marketing and processing expense and billing information to the appropriate departments.
• Implements and maintains the appropriate databases for this information.
• Assists with budgets and quality reports.

• Clinical Laboratory Supervisor License
• American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Histology Certification

• Bachelor’s degree related field AND 5 years of Clinical Laboratory
