Veterinary Hospital Manager – NVA General Practice

We are seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Hospital Manager to join our thriving team at Metzler Veterinary Hospital. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the hospital’s success, enhancing profitability, and fostering a culture of excellence and compassion.

• Lead complete ownership of P&L, accountable for the hospital’s performance
• Collaborate with regional leadership to identify trends and forecast the hospital’s needs
• Manage accounts receivable, hospital inventory, and control facility and administrative costs
• Oversee payroll for hospital staff and develop the hospital schedule to manage labor costs
• Champion change, document, share, and promote best practices
  
  Lead the hospital team to enhance processes, covering client service, operations, and administrative tasks
• Implement new technologies and initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Establish and drive the culture of the hospital
• Track and maintain current licensures for all DVMs
• Provide feedback and handle challenging conversations
• Demonstrate and reinforce the highest level of client service

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of managerial experience, with customer service experience
• Experience in a hospital, retail, or service-based industry in positions of increased responsibility is a plus
