Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Security Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems, with a focus on camera systems, access control systems, and related technologies. Key responsibilities include programming, configuring, and troubleshooting security software and hardware to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain security system software, primarily but not limited to camera and access control systems.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize systems such as Lenel S2 Netbox, Lenel OnGuard, Milestone servers, and recording servers.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate systems and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance to ensure functionality and security.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on system operations.
- 5+ years of Security System programming.
- FASA/BASA certified is a plus.
- Proven experience in programming and troubleshooting security systems.
- Familiarity with Lenel S2 Netbox, Lenel OnGuard, Milestone servers, and recording servers preferred.
- Strong understanding of camera systems, access control systems, and network infrastructure.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Lenel OnGuard, S2 Netbox, Milestone, or similar) are a plus.
- Capable of reading blueprints and schematics.
- Able to install security cameras, monitors and detection devices and their related equipment.
- Able to comprehend and install building access and control hardware, devices and controllers.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass Background and Drug Testing.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call availability when necessary.
