Sr Supplier Quality Engineer

Duration: 6+ months contract

Pay Rate: $50.48/hr

• You will report directly to the Quality Manager, and you’ll work out of our Clearwater Fl. location.
• In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by leading supplier quality improvement initiatives, conducting supplier audits, and driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• You will also be responsible for evaluating supplier capabilities, monitoring supplier quality metrics, and providing technical guidance and support to suppliers.

• Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.

• 6+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies.
• Experience in conducting supplier audits and driving supplier performance improvement.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to disposition hardware.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with suppliers.

• Experience in leading supplier development initiatives and driving supplier performance improvement.
• Six Sigma certification or knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
