Life Works Wellness Center is seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist (MD or DO) who is passionate about advancing patient outcomes through an integrative, whole-person approach to medicine. This position offers a rare opportunity to merge conventional oncology expertise with innovative, evidence-based therapies that help patients not only fight cancer but also rebuild their overall health and vitality.

About Life Works Wellness Center

For nearly 30 years, Life Works has been at the forefront of integrative medicine—helping patients with cancer and complex chronic conditions achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their quality of life. As one of the largest integrative oncology clinics in the U.S., we deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care that blends the best of modern science with holistic healing practices. Our mission is simple yet profound: to redefine what’s possible in cancer recovery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive oncology consultations, including detailed history-taking, diagnostic evaluations, and interpretation of laboratory, imaging, and pathology results within the integrative model of care.
  • Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans that combine conventional oncology protocols (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, etc.) with evidence-based integrative and supportive therapies.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team—including internal medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, nutritionists, and functional medicine practitioners—to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
  • Serve as a clinical thought leader by incorporating integrative strategies that support immune health, reduce treatment side effects, and improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
  • Communicate complex medical information with empathy and clarity, helping patients and their families understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and the integrative care philosophy.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment protocols as appropriate, and ensure timely follow-up and supportive interventions throughout all stages of treatment and recovery.
  • Stay informed on current research and emerging therapies in oncology and integrative medicine; contribute to continuous improvement of clinical protocols and best practices.
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely clinical documentation consistent with institutional standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Participate in team education sessions and case conferences; provide guidance and mentorship to clinical staff in integrative oncology principles and best practices.
  • Represent Life Works Wellness Center in professional forums, educational programs, and patient outreach initiatives that promote awareness of integrative oncology care.
Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. with an active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
  • Board certification in Medical Oncology, Hematology/Oncology, or Radiation Oncology.
  • Demonstrated excellence in patient care and communication.
  • Commitment to advancing integrative and functional approaches in oncology.
Preferred Experience
  • Additional certification or fellowship in integrative or functional medicine.
  • Clinical experience in integrative or supportive oncology settings.
  • Working knowledge of nutrition, detoxification, and lifestyle medicine as adjunctive cancer therapies.
Compensation & Benefits
  • A competitive salary commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Paid time off and holiday pay.
  • Employer-sponsored malpractice insurance included with employment.
  • Paid continuing education in integrative medicine to support professional development.
  • Additional benefits designed to support work‑life balance and long‑term career growth.
Annual Salary Range

Starting at $250,000+, commensurate with experience.
